Random Babbling

Well, yesterday was Easter, and we didn't have any kids except for my little man, (he is too young to understand what Easter is), so we spent the day doing what we do every Sunday-- cleaning the house.

I tell ya, Holidays just aren't the same without kids. Nick and I rotate with the "other parents" every other year, so some years we have ALL the kids and then the next we have none. Last year we went to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt up at the park behind our house and the Easter Bunny came to take pictures with all of the kids. Although Ambria cried and hid behind me the entire time, the other kids had a good time (she is afraid of anything in costume....Chuck E Cheese for her 3rd Birthday...now that was fun!) It just really didn't feel much like Easter at all. If Nick didn't see the Easter Bunny riding his skateboard down the Street, we probably would have forgot altogether.

On a lighter note, recently we found out that Nick's kids are going to be moving just down the street from us with their mom and her husband. I am very excited about that because we can see them a lot more, and put them in sports and be able to spend a lot more time together.
It's warming up outside, and I am ready to go outside and play. Happy Monday!
