Good Luck Chrissy!

Well, today was Chrissy's last day tending for about the next 2 months. I have to admit that when I left today it was like being back in elementary school and saying goodbye to your best friend because they are moving to another state or something. I am sad that she won't have my kids, mostly because Kayden has been with her since he was 6 weeks old. She is so great with them, and they love her to pieces.

She has decided to take off the rest of the week to hang with the family. Monday morning is her scheduled C-Section. Get this, the crazy thing is is that she doesn't even know what she is having. I don't know about you but I think I lasted 15 weeks with both of mine and made a special trip to Fetal Fotos to find out early. I have to say that I have pressured her a couple of times just to give in and find out, and well, she's a trouper and has made it to the end!! CONGRATS to that!

So, my bets are on a boy, Ryan says it's a girl....and I think we should take a poll to see if we can guess the sex of her new baby (too bad the only one who ever responds to my posts is Chrissy so this may not work). So, if you have guess, post a comment to this blog and let's see who gets it right....until then

GOOD LUCK CHRISSY!!!
PS...Ryan-you still cannot name it Billy Bob Bailey...sorry

7 days and counting!!!

We are only 7 days away from leaving for our trip to Virginia. The kids are already packed, and Nick and I are counting down! Nick's parents moved to Virginia not to long ago, and it has been a challenge for the kids being so far away.

We went to Virginia last year for a week and we had such a great time. The kids stayed over 6 weeks with Nick's parents. There were so many fun things to see in Virginia. We went to Kings Dominion, the beach and hung out at Grandmama and Grandaddy's house (which is absolutely beautiful by the way). If you look at the previous pic of Nick I posted it was taken in their driveway facing the house across the street from them.

This year we are going out for two full weeks and we are taking all 5 of our kids! We are going to Busch Gardens and spending an entire week at Virginia Beach in a beach house Nick's dad rented for us. It has a pool in the backyard. We will make sure to post lots of pictures when we come back!!!

He is getting so big......

Kayden is getting stronger, and holding himself up really well. Next thing you know he is going to be crawling all over the place.

Isn't he cute?

Alright, I had to post a pic of my hubby. What a cute guy he is. I love that boy to pieces!!!

My feet are killing me!

Nick and I just got home from taking a stroll with the baby. We walked around all the new houses in our neighborhood and the neighborhood next to us. We walked for two hours!!!! The sad part about this is that we both wore flip flops and now our feet have blisters! It was nice to be outside, and K man really had a good time looking around. What a good kid he is. I feel so blessed to have such a great baby. Sometimes I wonder if I will have more kids. Every day is a different answer. I don't know if I am really in the position to have more, but I don't know if I am ready to NEVER feel the feeling of being pregnant again, or experiencing birth or the feeling of having a new baby. It's such a neat feeling to never feel again......Chrissy.... you sure you don't want to tend just one more???
