More Pics

Under Construction

I had to post a few pics of the boys new room. The walls were grey, but I thought it was too gloomy. We painted the walls tan, put up some pics, put up their closet organizer (finally) and put up their door knobs. It is so much nicer now! Also, we have tiled the tub in the bath. Now we just have to put in the toilet and the vanity, mirror and light and that room is done and usable! I am so excited to have three bathrooms. It will be nice for the boys so they don't have to treck all the way upstairs in the middle of the night to pee!

On-line Shopper's Anonymous

So I have decided that I am an addict. Don't worry, I'm not your average kind of addict, I am an On-line shopping addict. I love ordering a bunch of stuff from Old Navy for the kids, or Hollister for Nick, or wherever for whoever! The best part is the anticipation of getting it in the mail....you wait, and you get all excited and when it arrives it's like opening a new present! I seriously think I order something online (usually clothes) once a week. It's horrible- but it is so fun! Check out my favorite sites www.oldnavy.com and www.hollisterco.com and www.childrensplace.com. Children's place and Old Navy have $5 shipping! So not matter what you order, you pay $5 to ship it to you! Now you can't get any better then that!

Do they have such a thing as On-line Shopper's Anonymous...because if they do...sign me up!

It's Friday........FINALLY!

I don't know about you but it has been one hell of a week! Even though Monday was a holiday and we didn't work, I still thought this week would never end. The kids come over tonight (all of them), so I am sure we will be busy and outside swimmin' most of the weekend! The weather guy this morning (the fill in guy for Damon Yawny on Fox-- that I can't stand--) said that it's supposed to get up to the mid 90's tomorrow and Sunday- so I figure Nick and I can get some sun before we scare all those people away on the beach. Oh, and my new swimsuit came in yesterday....and I must say boy am I glad I got the medium bottoms instead of the small. What was I thinken..I am NOT SMALL! It turned out really cute. It's always scary ordering online because you never know what it will look like or if the model was airbrushed who was wearing it in the catalog. But I did good, and I am excited to wear it next weekend at the beach!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Good Luck Chrissy!

Well, today was Chrissy's last day tending for about the next 2 months. I have to admit that when I left today it was like being back in elementary school and saying goodbye to your best friend because they are moving to another state or something. I am sad that she won't have my kids, mostly because Kayden has been with her since he was 6 weeks old. She is so great with them, and they love her to pieces.

She has decided to take off the rest of the week to hang with the family. Monday morning is her scheduled C-Section. Get this, the crazy thing is is that she doesn't even know what she is having. I don't know about you but I think I lasted 15 weeks with both of mine and made a special trip to Fetal Fotos to find out early. I have to say that I have pressured her a couple of times just to give in and find out, and well, she's a trouper and has made it to the end!! CONGRATS to that!

So, my bets are on a boy, Ryan says it's a girl....and I think we should take a poll to see if we can guess the sex of her new baby (too bad the only one who ever responds to my posts is Chrissy so this may not work). So, if you have guess, post a comment to this blog and let's see who gets it right....until then

GOOD LUCK CHRISSY!!!
PS...Ryan-you still cannot name it Billy Bob Bailey...sorry

7 days and counting!!!

We are only 7 days away from leaving for our trip to Virginia. The kids are already packed, and Nick and I are counting down! Nick's parents moved to Virginia not to long ago, and it has been a challenge for the kids being so far away.

We went to Virginia last year for a week and we had such a great time. The kids stayed over 6 weeks with Nick's parents. There were so many fun things to see in Virginia. We went to Kings Dominion, the beach and hung out at Grandmama and Grandaddy's house (which is absolutely beautiful by the way). If you look at the previous pic of Nick I posted it was taken in their driveway facing the house across the street from them.

This year we are going out for two full weeks and we are taking all 5 of our kids! We are going to Busch Gardens and spending an entire week at Virginia Beach in a beach house Nick's dad rented for us. It has a pool in the backyard. We will make sure to post lots of pictures when we come back!!!

He is getting so big......

Kayden is getting stronger, and holding himself up really well. Next thing you know he is going to be crawling all over the place.
